Mayer Cherem

Mayer Cherem, is a Managing Director and Partner, joined PAAMCO in 2004, and serves as Chief Investment Officer. He is a member of the PAAMCO Prisma Executive Committee and the Investment Committees for both Molecule, our multi-strategy hedge fund, and Complete Alpha, our bespoke hedge fund solutions business. As CIO, Mayer oversees the Portfolio Management team with respect to the Multi-Asset Investment Programs and is also responsible for Relative Value investments.  He is involved in the ongoing development of the firm’s risk criteria and quantitative aspects of portfolio construction. Mayer also manages several hedge fund solutions for large institutions. He earned his MBA from Columbia Business School after graduating from the Universidad Simon Bolivar of Venezuela with a BS in Production Engineering.
