Mayer Cherem

Mayer Cherem, is a Managing Director and Partner, joined PAAMCO in 2004, and is Head of Investments and a member of the PAAMCO Prisma Executive Committee and the Investment Committees for the firm’s Multi-Asset Investing Program including the Fund of Funds and Molecule implementation strategy. Mayer oversees the Portfolio Management team with respect to the Multi-Asset Investment Programs and is also responsible for Relative Value investments.  He focuses on the evaluation and management of relative value and opportunistic investments. He is involved in the ongoing development of the firm’s risk criteria and quantitative aspects of portfolio construction. Mayer also manages several hedge fund solutions for large institutions. He earned his MBA from Columbia Business School after graduating from the Universidad Simon Bolivar of Venezuela with a BS in Production Engineering.
