Yunus Emre Temiz (Turkey), Managing Director, is responsible for the firm’s long-only equity portfolio in Turkey. In addition, Emre provides oversight to the firm’s Mexico long-only equity portfolio. He is also responsible for expanding the emerging markets equity business into new geographies and products. Emre has twenty-two years of experience in financial markets. Prior to PAAMCO Miren, Emre worked as a portfolio manager at Black River Asset Management. Prior to Black River, he worked as a sell-side analyst at EFG Istanbul covering Turkish equities. Emre was also a buy-side analyst at Neuberger Berman in New York covering technology stocks globally. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bosphorus University, Istanbul and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.
